Financial Accountant

Currently, we are seeking for a mature and organised individual with the following attributes to join our Hong Kong office as a Financial Accountant in our Finance team. This role reports to a Finance Manager based in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities:

• Report to the Finance Manager on Hong Kong and PRC finance operation

• Handle the accounting functions of the responsible offices including Billing and Collection, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Banking, Cashflow and other ad hoc duties as required

• Review payments

• Prepare month end closing and reconcile all balance sheet accounts

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant GAAP and the firm’s accounting/internal policy, with minimal supervision

• Familiarize with finance operations of professional firm and the relevant accounting treatment; capable to monitor the working capital independently

• Work closely with other offices to ensure inter-company accounts are reconciled

Qualification:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines

• CPA qualified or finalist preferred

• Minimum 5 years of audit and relevant experience in sizeable MNC professional firm

• Ability to handle full set of accounts in accordance with internal accounting policies

• Knowledge of PRC tax and accounting regulations is preferred

• Mature, willing to take on responsibility, detailed mind set, hard-working, organized, self-motivated and able to work under pressure in fast pace environment

• Thrives on changes and continuous improvement

• Proficient in Sage ACCPAC, MYOB and Microsoft Offices

• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is an advantage

• Immediate available is an advantage
