The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented, and proactive Safer Gambling Officer to join our growing DAZN Bet team

In this role, you will identify customers who may be at risk of gambling-related harm and take appropriate action to support and protect them. Working closely with the wider Compliance and Customer Operations teams, you will conduct risk assessments, engage directly with customers, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions to ensure customer safety remains our top priority.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Safer Gambling or Compliance experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about customer protection.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Monitor customer activity, alerts, and reports to identify indicators of potential gambling-related harm

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement proportionate preventative measures where required

• Engage directly with customers via live chat, email, and telephone in a professional, empathetic, and sensitive manner

• Discuss customer gambling behaviours, personal circumstances, and affordability where appropriate

• Accurately document all customer interactions, assessments, decisions, and actions taken

• Review and evaluate intervention outcomes, escalating or adjusting actions when necessary

• Act as a point of escalation for Safer Gambling concerns raised by AML, Fraud, Payments, and Customer Service teams

• Maintain high standards of quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and KPI performance

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by constructively challenging existing processes and contributing ideas to enhance team effectiveness

• Promote awareness and understanding of safer gambling tools and external support resources

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience in a Safer Gambling, Responsible Gambling, Compliance, or related customer-facing role

• Strong empathy and emotional intelligence, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Fluency in German is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accurate documentation and decision-making

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively

• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving operational environment

• A customer-first mindset with a passion for protecting vulnerable customers
