Osttra provides an end-to-end solution for post-trade transaction management of credit, interest rate, equity, and foreign exchange derivatives. Osttra also connects dealers and buy-side institutions to central clearing counterparties, trade repositories, and electronic swap markets.
Osttra Client Services provides operational day-to-day customer support for all services supported within the MarkitServ suite of products. They are also responsible for the new client setup and new process adherence for the external Buy Side and Dealer communities. They work closely with Product Management, Client Account Management, Business Development and IT to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries. The group is also responsible for incident reporting and escalation.
Position summary
We are looking for self-driven individuals with strong data analytics skills, focusing on data analysis & report generation,and cloud management to join our growing analytics team within the Client Services group. The successful candidate will be a data-literate professional capable of transforming data into actionable insights, helping to reduce manual reporting overhead and provide Senior Management with a "single source of truth."
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports. They should possess the knowledge of Google Cloud, BI platform such as Looker Studio and Power BI Advanced SQL, Python, ETL tool (Big Query) and other tools working with cross-functional teams across the OSTTRA suite of products.
The analytics team supports Client Services Management in providing transparency across their key risk indicators in order to manage their business and maintain a robust control framework across the Global Implementation and Client Services teams.
Duties & accountabilities
• The duties and responsibilities of the data analyst include collecting, transforming, querying, reporting and analysing data and making this data accessible to those who need the information to streamline business processes.
• Collaborating with the Global Client Service senior management team to produce and streamline monthly reports to provide transparency around Client Service and Onboarding activity
• Preparing reports and presenting these to management. Seeking feedback to improve and optimise
• Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns.
• Organising and transforming information into comprehensible structures. Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs
• Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
• Identifying and recommending new ways to streamline metrics and controls.
• Engagement with the broader CS team to understand the business foundations/rationale of the key risk indicators
• Leveraging experience with data analysis and business automation tools to improve/extend the suite of performance and business metrics available to the management team
Business competencies
• 7+ years of experience required
• Cloud Database Management, Big Query, AWS, GCP, SQL, Python scripting
• Expert in using BI tools such as Looker Studio & Looker (LookML) and Power BI
• Advanced in Excel and Database Management (incl PowerBI)
• Deep experience with Salesforce and JIRA ( including APIs)
• Gen AI applications knowledge and proven experience
• Slide automation tools- Since they will support Senior Management, knowledge of tools that push data directly from Sheets/Looker into Google Slides or PowerPoint
• Experience with data analysis and business automation tools
• Knowledge of OTC derivative products,Trade confirmations, and financial markets is an advantage but not a requirement

• Data Visualisation and information architecture: The candidate must demonstrate a "user-first" mentality.
• Mindset to implement automated data ingestion pipelines to eliminate reliance on repetitive manual data entry,
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical rigour- they should possess an SME-level understanding of operational metrics (e.g., SLA attainment, ticket velocity, and client health scores).
• Executive communication: The ability to produce Senior Management presentations is vital. The successful candidate must be able to translate technical jargon into business value
