Borrelli Walsh, a Kroll Business, is a leading specialist restructuring, insolvency and forensic accounting firm with a dedicated team of over 140 professionals and staff across offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, India, United Kingdom, British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. Borrelli Walsh has been involved in some of the largest and most difficult corporate collapses, litigation and expert witness cases, and financial investigations in recent years.

Currently, we are seeking an ambitious individual with approximately 6 - 8 years’ insolvency, restructuring and forensic accounting experience to join our team in BVI:

• bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field;

• CA or CPA qualification;

• with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant work experience, including insolvency, restructuring and associated investigations;

• highly motivated with a good business sense and commercial acumen;

• ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems;

• strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills;

• strong people management skills; and

• excellent communication skills (written and spoken).

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate solid experience of:

• managing high-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations and complex cross-border matters, particularly across BVI, Cayman, UK, Hong Kong and PRC jurisdictions;

• leading and managing engagements such as financial and operational restructuring, official and voluntary liquidations, other formal and informal insolvency and restructuring procedures, valuations and accounting investigation assignments;

• managing and directing all aspects of client work, including the reviewing and drafting of detailed, complex reports and documents for courts and creditors;

• day-to-day mentoring and training of junior members of staff, to facilitate staff development, meet a firm’s present and future needs and meet the needs of individual employees;

• contributing to development of best practice;

• establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients; and

• promoting an insolvency/restructuring firm, particularly in BVI marketplace.
