The Role:
As Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d) for the DACH region, you will play a key role in driving new business growth advertising revenue within DAZN Media. The focus of this role is the acquisition of new brand partners and the development of scalable, long-term media partnerships across key industries.
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, you will develop solution-led, integrated partnerships that address client objectives across multiple revenue streams. You will own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and pitching to closing and expanding partnerships - working closely with internal teams to maximise commercial impact. This role combines a proactive mindset with strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a passion for sport and media innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Driving new business acquisition by winning new advertisers across the DACH region
• Building senior-level relationships with brands across key verticals such as automotive, FMCG, finance, insurance, and technology
• Owning direct revenue streams and delivering ambitious new business and total revenue targets
• Developing and pitching custom, integrated brand partnership solutions
• Managing the full sales funnel, from first contact through negotiation, closing, and onboarding
• Creating business cases for bespoke activations, sponsorships, and product innovations
• Developing deep knowledge of DAZN’s advertising products and commercial capabilities
• Collaborating with internal teams to support forecasting, planning, and sustainable growth
What You’ll Bring:
• Proven experience in new business development, Media sales, or brand partnerships within TV, OTT, digital, or video, or a sports related environment
• Strong track record of winning new clients and managing complex sales cycles
• Experience in working with large advertisers in premium brand environments
• Solid understanding of OTT, digital video, and programmatic advertising models
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English
• High ownership, resilience, and motivation in a target-driven environment
